The meaning behind the RCCSE Club Banner:
The Rotary Club of Chicago Southeast proudly serves under this banner.
Founded in 1997, next year the club celebrates 25 years of service!

Kente Cloth Border - Represents our African heritage and connection to the continent.
Clock - This clock was built on ‘Rotary Island’ located at 87th and Stony Island in Chicago in 2007. It was donated by RCCSE and is the 1st permanent edifice erected by a Rotary club in the Chicago area.
Rotary Wheel - The international Rotary symbol recognized around the world.
Jean Baptiste Point du Sable - Homage to the founder of Chicago. DuSable, of Haitian decent, was the first permanent non-indigenous settler in Chicago. He became a powerful trader and pioneer of the Midwest.

Farrad Ali founded Mende Cybernetics, LLC

Farrad has worked in the FinTech and ISP industries since the late 1990s. He has worked and lived abroad in Europe and he has established partnerships with organizations in Ghana. In addition, he is currently engaged as the co-founder of an NGO with active infrastructure projects in Ghana. Farrad possesses a BS in Computer Science from Chicago State University (1990), a MS in Computer Science from Governors State University (1994), and an MBA from Purdue University (2008).
